Larsen Service Drug was originally opened by pharmacist John O. Larsen, in 1952. In 1981, John was joined in business by his son, Larry, a pharmacist who operates the business with his wife, Debbie. Located in western North Dakota, just north of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park (North Unit), Larsen's services a county of 5000 people.
Larsen Service Drug's second location, in New Town, ND, opened in November, 2003 and serves a bustling community on the edge of Lake Sakakawea.
Larsen Service Drug joined the Thrifty White Drugstore Chain as an independent pharmacy in 2005. This affiliation has greatly enhanced their ability to offer the most up-to-date products, particularly in the health and beauty and home decor areas.
Larsen Service Drug is the old-fashioned drugstore you remember - where they had everything and the service was second-to-none. Larsen's prides itself on its friendly and knowledgeable staff, and its impressive selection of product to help keep customers healthy, treat various ailments, and provide them with the things they need and want to go about their everyday lives.
Larsen Service Drug still maintains a soda fountain, which is almost as rare as stand alone drugstores these days. From the morning coffee crowd, to the afternoon ice cream treat customers, the soda fountain provides a spot for rest and relaxation with family and friends.
Larry and Debbie Larsen and their staff invite any and every one to come see what shopping at a modern, up-to-date store, with old-fashioned service is like. You'll be glad you did.
